Passenger Leaves Female Pilot Sexist Note on Napkin

I can’t even believe that their are still people like that. Stuck in the past. Nowadays a woman can be a wrestler and never have kids. Being a mother is not the best nor the only honor can have. We are people. Not baby machines. If you want more babies in the world then YOU have them.

CANADA– A note left behind on a WestJet flight is shocking the woman it was written about.

According to CTV News, Carey Steacy, who’s been a pilot with WestJet for almost a decade, was the pilot of a recent flight where a passenger left behind a sexist note on a napkin.

emailIt read, in part,  “The cockpit of an airliner is no place for a woman. A woman being a mother is the most honor. I wish WestJet would tell me a fair lady is at the helm so I could book another flight.

Steacy said she refused to be embarrassed about it, and instead, posted it on Facebook and has received very supportive feedback.

In a statement to CTV, WestJet said, “We are enormously proud of the professionalism, skills and expertise of our pilots and we find this note very disappointing.”
